SNAP Weatherization is a NO COST program available to income qualified residents of Spokane County. It can reduce energy use and improve safety and comfort in qualifying homes through measures like insulation, air-sealing, furnace health checks, and minor repairs. If you qualify our certified crews will assess your home and install improvements that lower utility bills and make your home healthier year-round.

To qualify for SNAP Weatherization you must live in Spokane County in a single-family home, stick-built house, manufactured home, duplex, or tri-plex. Homes may be owner-occupied or rented with landlord permission, and homeowners must have owned their home for at least one year.
Weatherization cannot be provided for apartments, RVs, or travel trailers, and at least 15 years must have passed since the home last received weatherization services. Eligible properties must also be current on this year’s property taxes and on their mortgage and not at risk of foreclosure.
